We have discovered that AppleScirpt code runs faster in the FaceSpan runtime than it does in Apple’s applet/droplet environment.  One of our testers has found that he has been able to dramatically improve the performance of several of his AppleScript applets by simply transplanting their code into a FaceSpan project.

FaceSpan 5.0 provides two template projects (Applet and Droplet) to make this transition simpler.
